The journey starts from Kathmandu on 21 March. you reach Namche Bazar on 23 March. Namche Bazar is at the height of Leh at 3500 meters (11,482 feet). we reach Everest base camp 5,380 m (17,600 ft) on 30 March. We would be acclimatized by then. we start running on 1 April. We expect good runners will take 5 hours for half marathon. It is recommended that you build your endurance before this challenging trek and ultimate marathon. Breathtaking nature is what you should look forward to!

Kishor Dhankude is one of the thousands of IT Professionals in India.
But then how many professionals, not just from IT, can boast of being a marathon runner who can run 42km in 3 hrs 52 min and a mountaineer who has scaled the highest peak of the world, Mt, Everest, twice?
Kishor has taken up a new challenge, a local one this time. He describes it thus
I intend to climb Sinhagad Fort for 42 consecutive days. This is a tribute to my Father Late Shri Dattatraya V Dhankude inspired by the Great Maratha leader Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
